Please join us at our regular monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at Cafe Express (3418 N. Lamar Blvd).
 Please remember to vote in the May 29th Primary Elections. The Stonewall-endorsed candidates can be found in the links above.

Due to the State Convention and the 4th of July holiday the next regular monthly meeting will be on August 1.

SDA Candidate Forum and Endorsement Meeting April 11

On April 11, the Stonewall Democrats of Austin will hold a candidate forum and endorsement meeting with candidates for the May City Council elections. In seeking an endorsement, candidates are required to answer a questionnaire on LGBT-related issues. Copies of the candidates' answers will be available the evening of the Forum.

During the Forum portion of the meeting, each candidate will be allowed time for remarks, followed by questions from SDA members. At the conclusion of the Forum, the members will vote on endorsements.

In order to vote, you must be a current, dues-paid member of SDA. If you are a previous SDA member and your membership has expired, you may make your membership current on the evening of the Endorsement Meeting.

The Candidate Forum and Endorsement Meeting will begin at 6:30 PM in the County Commissioner Court Room, located in the Granger Bldg. at 314 W. 11th street. The Granger Bldg. is at the northeast corner of 11th and Guadalupe St., across from the County Courthouse.
